Cheesy Rice


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3.4 teaspoon salt
Method:

In medium saucepan, melt butter and saute onion. Add water and rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Add remaining ingredients; blend well and serve immediately.
